MELBOURNE, Australia, Oct. 19, 2011 /CNW/ - OceanaGold Corporation's financial and operational results for the quarter ended 30 September 2011 will be released following the close of the ASX market on Thursday 27 October (Melbourne, Australia time) and will be posted on OceanaGold's website at www.oceanagold.com.

The Company will host a conference call / webcast to discuss Q3 2011 Financial Results.  The call will take place at 8.00am on Friday 28 October (Melbourne, Australia time) / 5.00pm on Thursday 27 October (Toronto, Canada time).
