Atlanta Gold provides update on convertible debenture financing

TORONTO, Oct. 14, 2011 /CNW/ - Atlanta Gold Inc.

(OTCQX: ATLDF) announces that discussions are continuing with Concept Capital Management Ltd. ('CCM') to finalize documentation in respect of the issuance by the Company of a C$3 million 6% secured convertible debenture and 30 million common share purchase warrants of the Company to CCM. As previously announced in the Company's news release of June 8, 2011, the convertible debenture and warrants will be issued in repayment of the US$3 million bridge loan previously advanced to the Company by CCM. Completion of this financing is subject to approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
