LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 01/11/12 -- Cerro Resources NL (the 'Cerro') (ASX: CJO)(TSX VENTURE: CJO) announces the grant of 5,250,000 stock options under Cerro's Executive and Staff Option Plan, of which an aggregate of 1,500,000 options was granted to an officer and an investor relations consultant. Subject to certain vesting conditions and TSX Venture acceptance, the options are exercisable at $0.17 and are valid until December 31, 2014.
