group physical activities for charity. Kleinfeld and other senior
leaders participated in a bowl-a-thon at Legacy Lanes in the South
Hills, where winning teams selected charities from key Alcoa regions
around the world to receive grants from Alcoa Foundation. The 250
employees joined efforts and gave away a total of $17,000 to local and
national organizations focused on workforce development, education and
the environment.
'Alcoa employees have always been actively involved in their local
communities,? said Paula Davis, President, Alcoa Foundation. 'Alcoans in
Motion provides a unique opportunity for our employees and their friends
and families to contribute to nonprofit organizations that are important
to them while engaging in healthy activities. This year, our goal is to
have 100 events in more than 20 countries.?
