Lake Shore Gold Files Technical Report for Timmins West Mine

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 03/30/12 -- Lake Shore Gold Corp. (TSX: LSG)(NYSE Amex: LSG) ("Lake Shore Gold" or the "Company") today announced that a technical report (the "Report"), entitled "43-101 Technical Report, Preliminary Economic Assessment and Updated Mineral Resource Estimate for Timmins West Mine, Timmins, Ontario, Canada," has been filed on SEDAR at www.sedar.com. The Report is also available on the Company's website at www.lsgold.com (please see Mines, Projects & Properties/Review of Properties/Timmins West Mine).


The Report includes the previously announced updated resource for the wholly owned Timmins West Mine (see press release dated February 15, 2012), as well as the previously announced results of a Preliminary Economic Assessment for the Timmins West Mine (see press release dated February 28, 2012).

Lake Shore Gold is a gold mining company that is in production and pursuing rapid growth through the successful exploration, development and operation of three wholly owned, multi-million ounce gold complexes in the Timmins Gold Camp.
