The Company recorded a net loss of $65,537,000 or $0.17 per share for the three months ended December 31, 2011 compared with a net loss of $9,394,000 or $0.03 per share for the same period in 2010. The net loss for 2011 includes a non-cash impairment charge of $32.6 million against goodwill in its U.S. mining segment in the fourth quarter.
