Northern Lion Gold Corp. Appoints Officers

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire - May 27, 2011) - Northern Lion Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:NL) (FRANKFURT:N3E) ("Northern Lion" or the "Company") announces that effective May 26, 2011, John Lando, President and Secretary has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, President and Secretary, and Tammy Gillis, CMA has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (formerly the Company's Financial Controller).

In connection with the appointment of Tammy Gillis to CFO, the Company has granted incentive stock options to purchase 75,000 shares, exercisable at a price of $0.38 per share for a period of five years.
