EurOmax Announces Election of Board of Directors and New Management Team

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 05/22/12 -- EurOmax Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: EOX) (OTCQX: EOXFF) ("EurOmax" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the following individuals were elected as the Company's board of directors at the Annual General and Special Meeting held today: Mark Gustafson, Randal Matkaluk, Quinton Hennigh, Martyn Konig, Varshan Gokool and Steve Sharpe.

The Company is also pleased to announce the following officer appointments:

--  Martyn Konig - Non-Executive Chairman
--  Steve Sharpe - President & Chief Executive Officer
--  Varshan Gokool - Chief Financial Officer
--  Mark Gustafson - Chief Operating Officer
--  Dimitar Dimitrov - Senior Vice-President Exploration

All of the resolutions that shareholders were asked to consider at the Annual General and Special Meeting were approved.
