CALGARY, May 24, 2012 - Manson Creek Resources Ltd. ("Manson" or the Corporation") (TSX VENTURE: MCK) announces that shareholders have approved all the resolutions presented to them at the Annual and Special Meeting held on May 24, 2012.
The shareholders re-elected five directors to the Board: Regan Chernish (President), Jean Pierre Jutras (Vice-President), Shane Ebert, Douglas Porter and Gordon Clarke. The shareholders also appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Chartered Accountants, as the Corporation's auditors and ratified and approved the 10% rolling stock option plan.
The shareholders also approved a consolidation of the issued share capital on the basis of up to five (5) pre-consolidated common shares for one (1) post-consolidation common share and authorized the Board, if it considers it to be in the best interest of the corporation to effect this consolidation at any time during the ensuing year.
