Vancouver, BC, June 6 2012 - Consolidated Woodjam Copper Corp. ("Consolidated Woodjam Copper") (TSX-V: WCC) would like to note that on May 16, 2012 Phil Linderbach, owner of Phil's Diamond Drilling, sadly passed away following a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Phil had completed formative and critical exploration drilling on the Woodjam project for predecessor companies to Consolidated Woodjam Copper Corp; namely Fjordland Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: FEX) and Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: CRB). For this reason the company extends its gratitude and pays tribute to Phil's legacy.

In 2004 Phil drilled hole 04-32 at Woodjam which intersected 275 metres grading 1.03 g/t gold and 0.14% copper in the Megabuck Zone of what is now named the Woodjam North Project (now 51% owned by Gold Fields Ltd. and 49% by Consolidated Woodjam Copper). Hole 04-32 was at this time heralded by well known writer and analyst John Kaiser (the Bottom Fisher) as a truly "Hail Mary Hole" and for some time after its completion put the Woodjam project securely on investor's radar screens.

In late 2007 Phil drilled hole 07-78 in what is now referred to as the Southeast Zone of the Woodjam South Project (also 51% owned by Gold Fields Ltd. and 49% by Consolidated Woodjam Copper). This hole proved to have more overburden than the 100 metres of casing which Phil had at his disposal. After setting the 100 metres of casing available Phil continued to drill through uncased overburden until he encountered bedrock at 139 metres. The hole was lost after a further 1.2 metres when, because of its uncased character, the hole collapsed. The short interval of bedrock (1.2 metres) that was recovered proved to be a well mineralized intrusive that graded 0.38% copper and 0.012% molybdenum. To quote Tom Schroeter of Fjordland Exploration at the time "game on". The drill was moved a few metres and with more casing secured, hole 07-79 was drilled returning an intercept of 202 metres from the bedrock surface grading 0.34% copper and 0.014% molybdenum. Phil proceeded to drill a series of well mineralized holes in the Southeast Zone including hole 08-84 a year later which returned an intercept of 359 metres grading 0.69% copper and 0.27 g/t gold.

Phil was sadly pre-deceased by two of his sons who were partners in his drilling company. In 1987 son Dean Linderbach was attacked and killed a bear in northwestern BC while laying out a water line and in 2009 son Clay Linderbach was killed in a motor vehicle accident in Panama.

Consolidated Woodjam Copper, Fjordland Exploration and Cariboo Rose Resources extend their profound sympathy and gratitude to Phil's family. Largely because of Phil's tenacity Woodjam continues to be "game on" with two drills currently turning. J.W.
