Perth, Australia (ABN Newswire) - The Board of Archer Exploration Limited (ASX:AXE) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr David Lock effective today to head the Company's metallurgical testing, process flow sheet definition, pilot plant testing and operating plant design for the Campoona Graphite Deposit.

Dr Lock is a leading World expert in Geochemistry, Assaying, Mineral Processing, Mineralogy, Geo-metallurgy, Process improvements, Project Design and Execution, Product Development and Marketing in Industrial Minerals.

Dr Lock was educated in Adelaide at Flinders University of South Australia, School of Earth Sciences receiving a BSc (Hons) in Geology and Geophysics in 1975 and a PhD in Geology and Geochemistry in 1983.

Dr Lock was accorded a World-Leadership Standing in Industrial Minerals Science & Engineering and in Minerals Education by US Department of Justice (2001), for priority US immigration and US Defense-research employment. This special category (Alien of Extraordinary Ability) is available only to world-class artists, athletes, performers, business leaders, and scientists who wish to work in the US. Management for conceptual targets, initiation, team-leadership, technical support, & completion, for national exploration programs in non-metallic, metallic and fuel mineral commodities.
