Anglo Canadian Stakes Additional Gold Claims at Stirrup Creek

Anglo Canadian Mining Corp. (“Anglo Canadian” or the “Company”) (TSX Venture: URA) is pleased to announce the staking of an additional 25 Units totalling 507 hectares adjoining its existing Stirrup Creek gold claims. The additional units bring the total area covered to 1182 hectares. Stirrup Creek is a low sulphidation, epithermal precious metals target located 95 km west of Clinton, 25 km south-east of the Blackdome mine and 50 km south of the Poison Mountain copper / gold deposit operated by Barrick Gold. All claims, both new and old, were previously held and explored by Chevron Minerals in the 1980's and were kept in good standing until early 2000 when the company acquired the original claims. A drill program was conducted in 2005, and was successful in identifying gold values that were considered marginal at that time based on gold prices. Current gold prices have renewed interest in acquiring and conducting further exploration on the claims. An independent placer operation on Stirrup Creek itself has been successful for the past two years and is currently being mined. The Company conducted and airborne survey in the fall on 2011 and plans further exploration this year subject to fund raising.
