Anglo Canadian Announces Appointment to Board of Directors

Anglo Canadian Mining Corp. (“Anglo Canadian” or the “Company”) (TSX Venture: URA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Peter Espig to the Board of Directors. Mr. Espig has structured over US $2 Billion in private equity and pre-IPO reverse merger transactions. He founded TriAsia Capital, a private equity and consulting firm focused on raising capital for mid-sized Japanese companies and pre-IPO investment and consulting. He also served as Vice-President of the Principal Finance and Securitization Group and Asia Special Situations Group for Goldman Sachs Japan. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Espig served as Vice-President of Olympus Capital, a New York based private equity firm.

Mr. Espig currently serves as a director of Star Bulk Carriers Corp, Novadx Ventures,. and Huldra Silver. He received his B.A. from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from Columbia Business School where he was honored as a Chazen Society International Scholar.

This appointment is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
