Acadian Files Updated Technical Report for the Fifteen Mile Stream Project

HALIFAX, NS, Sept. 4, 2012 /CNW/ - Acadian Mining Corporation ("Acadian" or the "Company") (TSX: ADA) (OTCQX: ADAIF) announces that it has filed on SEDAR a Technical Report on an Updated Mineral Resource Estimate for the Company's wholly-owned Fifteen Mile Stream Property dated August 29, 2012 (the "Technical Report"). The Technical Report was prepared by Dr. Simon Dominy FAusIMM (CP), FAIG (RPGeo), Executive Consultant, Snowden Mining Industry Consultants Pty Limited and Richard Horne, M.Sc., P.Geo., Chief Geologist of Acadian. Dr. Dominy is an independent Qualified Person in accordance with NI 43-101.
The updated NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate for the Main Zone (Egerton-MacLean Zone) of the Fifteen Mile Stream deposit is 308,000 ounces of gold in the inferred category with an average grade of 1.6 g/t Au at a cut-off of 0.7 g/t Au.
