TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/09/12 -- Centerra Gold Inc. (TSX: CG) announced today that independent environmental experts with U.S.-based Prizma LLC analyzed the June 2012 Parliamentary Commission Report ("Report") about the Kumtor Mine, located in the Kyrgyz Republic. Kumtor has operated in accordance with Kyrgyz and international standards and this has been proven over the years in systematic audits by Kyrgyz and international experts."
