Discussion topics with Pm Berisha included opportunities to acquire exploration rights for Albanian mineral resources
TORONTO, Dec. 14, 2012 - NWT Uranium Corp. (TSX VENTURE:NWT) (FRANKFURT:NMV) ("NWT" or "The Company") announced that CEO David Subotic and Chairman John Zorbas met last week with Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha in Tirana, Albania. Among the topics discussed was the potential for NWT Uranium to invest in Albania through the acquisition of exploration rights for state-owned mineral resources.
"Albania has already created many success stories by offering numerous avenues of government support." said Prime Minister Berisha. "We are dedicated to guaranteeing the success of the private sector, as it is a major contributor to the development of the country."
Both parties described the meeting at informative and fruitful and promised to continue to explore opportunities for future collaboration. NWT Uranium believes Albania to be well positioned for a period of sustained and substantial growth as the country continues with preparations to join the European Union.
