TORONTO, Jan. 29, 2013 - Asher Resources Corporation ACN (TSX-V) (the "Company") advises that 250,000 stock options having an exercise price of $0.25 per common share for 5 years have been granted to a director of the Company. The options have been granted in accordance with the terms of the Company's 10% rolling Stock Option Plan which received shareholder approval at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on June 21, 2012.
