Alabama Graphite Corp. Releases Latest Drill Results from its Coosa Graphite Project, Alabama

19.03.2013  |  The Newswire
Sylacauga, March 19, 2013 - Alabama Graphite Corp. (the "Company") (CNSX:ALP) (Frankfurt: 1AG.F WKN A1J35M) is pleased to report assay results from eight additional drill holes at the Coosa Graphite Project, Alabama.

All of the current results are from core holes drilled within the 200' by 200' resource definition grid. Each of the holes was drilled to a minimum depth a 250' using a wireline core drill. The core was logged and sampled at the Company's facility in Sylacauga and shipped to ALS Minerals in Elko, Nevada, for analysis. The samples were analyzed for graphitic carbon (Cg) by the LECO method.

Below is a table summarizing the significant results from the new drill holes:

In addition, results were received from 17 sonic holes. Sonic drilling was employed to get improved recoveries through the oxidized upper potions of the drill holes. Typically, the holes were pre-collared with the sonic drill before completing them with the diamond drill. Processing of the sonic core was also done at the Sylacauga facility with assaying at ALS Minerals.

Dr. Douglas Oliver, VP Exploration, comments, "We continue to be impressed with both the consistency of the results and the width of mineralization. The Company emphasizes that many of the holes ended in graphitic mineralization and the 250' depth was a pre-determined cut-off. Additional drilling has the potential to expand these results both along strike as well as at depth."
