Alabama Graphite reports further drill results from Coosa Graphite Project - 236 feet (71.9 meters) of 3.01% Cg
16.01.2013 | The Newswire
Vancouver, January 16, 2013 - Alabama Graphite Corp. (the "Company") (CNSX:ALP) (Frankfurt: 1AG.F WKN A1J35M, ISIN# CA0102931080 ) is pleased to announce further drill results from its just-completed 6000M drill program at the Coosa Graphite Project in Coosa County Alabama.
Results were received from hole AGC-G05C. This 'G' line is the second grid line inside the 54 hole grid to have been assayed. The 'H' line results were reported last week. As with the results last week, these assays represent the "at depth" diamond core recoveries that begin beneath the oxidation zone. This hole (along with 41 others inside the grid) was additionally pre-collared in the oxidized zone with a sonic drill and these sonic drill results will be released at a later date when the sonic "tubes" are processed at the assay laboratory. The sonic drill collars in the upper oxidized zone were employed to optimize recoveries that were not achievable with the diamond drill.

Samples were logged and sampled at the Company's facility in Sylacauga and shipped to ALS Minerals in Elko, Nevada, for analysis. The samples were analyzed for graphitic carbon (Cg) by the LECO method.
Below is a table summarizing the results from this new diamond drill hole:
"These drill results continue to demonstrate a continuity of thickness and a consistency of graphitic carbon from top of the hole to the bottom. We are adding tons and the grade in this grid line has shown improvement from our results last week," remarked Dan Spine, CEO.
Alabama Graphite plans to begin metallurgical testing once assay results on the resource grid have been compiled. A resource estimate will be prepared concurrently with the metallurgy.
