Salazar Appoints Juan C. Ortiz to the Board
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/13/13 -- Salazar Resources Limited (TSX VENTURE: SRL)(FRANKFURT: CCG) (the "Company" or "Salazar") announces that Juan C. Ortiz has been appointed as a director of Salazar effective immediately.
Mr. Ortiz is the corporate project manager of the mining division of Trafigura Group. He is responsible for prefeasibility studies for in-house projects at current mines, due diligence and prefeasibility studies for external projects, and tracking of continuing projects in the mining group. A native of Peru, Mr. Ortiz has a BSc from Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru, in mining engineering, and an MEng from Pennsylvania State University, in mineral engineering management.
