Aldrin Appoints Mr. Bryan Trottier to Advisory Board
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sep 17, 2013) - Aldrin Resource Corp. ("Aldrin") (TSX VENTURE:ALN) is very pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Bryan Trottier to its advisory board. Mr. Trottier will be instrumental in assisting with building relationships with our local communities. Mr. Trottier is a retired hockey player that played 18 years in the National Hockey League for the New York Islanders and Pittsburgh Penguins and as an assistant coach with the Colorado Avalanche. His many accomplishments include seven Stanley Cup wins (six as a player, one as an assistant coach with the Avalanche) including the Calder Trophy winner as the NHL's top rookie in 1976, the Hart Trophy and Art Ross Trophy winner in 1979 and was given the King Clancy Trophy winner in 1989 for his charity work. Bryan was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997.
Mr. Trottier states, "I am very pleased to be working with Aldrin. Over the past 35 years, I have visited over 200 First Nations Communities in Canada, conducting hockey clinics and delivering the message for the First Nations children to continue their education and pursue their dreams of making healthy choices. My ancestral background is from the Cree Metis Chippewa heritage and the inspiration of making it from a small Saskatchewan community to New York and the National Hockey League hopefully leaves a lasting memory and encourages others to excel at whatever they choose to pursue."
Aldrin's CEO Johnathan More states, "Mr. Trottier is an inspirational success story and we are delighted to welcome him to our Advisory Board. We are looking forward to his valuable input with respect to First Nations affairs and community relations as we continue to build Aldrin Resource Corp."
ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Johnathan More, CEO and Director
