Aldrin Appoints Mr. Thomas S. Drolet
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sep 24, 2013) - Aldrin Resource Corp. ("Aldrin") (TSX VENTURE:ALN) is very pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Thomas S. Drolet to its advisory board. Mr. Drolet has had an extensive 43 year career in many phases of Energy, including Nuclear Power (Fission and Fusion), Geothermal, and major projects in Coal, Natural Gas, Distributed Generation, Oil and other renewables such as Hydroelectric, Solar and Biomass.
He was born in Ottawa, Canada and received a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada and a Masters of Science Degree in Nuclear Technology/Chemical Engineering and a DIC from Imperial College, University of London, England. Mr. Drolet spent 26 years with Ontario Hydro, the largest Electrical Utility in North America in various positions including Nuclear Fission and Fusion, Coal, Natural Gas, Hydro, and alternative energies. He served Ontario Hydro as President and CEO conducting projects in 44 countries worldwide. Tom was appointed Managing Director of American Electric Power for Canada where he was involved in mergers, acquisitions and other consulting activities in Japan, China and the Canadian and US power sectors. In 2001, he joined DTE Energy Technologies as their head of International Business for Distributed Generation energy products. Mr. Drolet also assisted at Chernobyl, Ukraine soon after the accident in 1986, at Three Mile Island and has been on various major news networks advising on the recent Fukushima disaster. Tom continues consulting on a variety of management and energy issues for several large International organizations.
