VANCOUVER, Jan 6, 2014 - Argus Metals Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:AML) announces that at its annual general meeting of shareholders held on December 19, 2014 each of Michael Collins, Paul D. Gray, Robert van Santen, Jason McLaughlin and Fred Tejada were elected as directors.
At a subsequent Board meeting, Paul D. Gray resigned as President and CEO and Michael Collins was elected as President and CEO. The Board would like to thank Mr. Gray for his work as President and CEO and to welcome Fred Tejada to the Board.
Mr. Tejada is a professional geologist, registered in British Columbia. He has 30 years of international mineral industry experience and has a proven track record, working with both major and junior mining and exploration focused organizations. Mr. Tejada was Country Manager for Phelps Dodge Exploration Corporation in the Philippines with responsibility over corporate and technical matters, development of exploration strategy and acquisitions. Mr. Tejada is President of Tirex Resources and previously held the position of Vice President for Exploration of Panoro Minerals Ltd. where he directed the resource definition drilling of its two major copper projects in Peru. Mr. Tejada is also active as a director with Green Arrow Resources Inc., Jager Resources Inc. and High 5 Ventures Inc.
