Yepleu Nickel-Copper-Palladium Discovery Target Area Expands by 21km2
Sama to commence down-hole geophysical surveys
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Feb 3, 2014) - Sama Resources Inc./Ressources Sama Inc. ("Sama" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SME) is pleased to announce the regional geological mapping has identified that the geological host of the newly discovered Yepleu nickel-copper-palladium mineralization extends beyond the original 3 kilometers ("km") by 600 to 800 meters ("m") to an area as vast as 6 km x 4 km.
"The Yepleu discovery is the first nickel-copper-palladium deposit found outcropping at surface in West-Africa" stated Dr. Marc-Antoine Audet, President and CEO. "Together with the Samapleu nickel-copper-palladium deposits, the Yepleu discovery is part of the recently discovered Yacouba layered complex" Dr. Audet added.
The Yepleu Project is located 18 km southwest of the Samapleu nickel-copper-palladium deposits at the southwest boundary of the Samapleu Project in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa. Exploration is ongoing with both of the Company's 100% owned Coretech CSD 1300G drill rigs.
Detailed geophysical interpretation of the airborne HTEM Survey has identified more than 20 high priority targets for nickel-copper-palladium exploration. The Yepleu area is just one of them. The HTEM Survey clearly demonstrates the discovery potential for additional nickel-copper sulphide deposits within Sama's properties.
Down-hole geophysical surveys will commence shortly. Drill holes will be surveyed after they are finished and any high priority conductors that are identified will be targeted for follow-up drill testing.
