ST. JOHN'S, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR--(Marketwired - Feb 5, 2014) - Vulcan Minerals Inc. ("the Company" - "Vulcan") (TSX VENTURE:VUL) reports that Patrick J. Laracy, C.E.O and President of the Company, has acquired ownership of 600,000 common shares of the Company by way of market purchases made through the TSX Venture Exchange on February 4th, controls directly and indirectly 6,447,584 common shares of the Company representing 11.1% of the 2014.
The acquisition amounts to 1.1% of the 58,526,129 outstanding common shares of the Company. As a result, Mr. Laracy now owns directly 5,991,600 common shares which represent 10.3% of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company. Further, Mr. Laracy now owns and issued and outstanding common shares of the Company.
Mr. Laracy made the acquisition for investment purposes and may make further acquisitions or depositions in the future.
