European Uranium Provides Update on Grit Financing

Vancouver, British Columbia CANADA, February 28, 2014 /FSC/ - European Uranium Resources Ltd. (EUU - TSX Venture, EUUNF - OTCQX, TGPN - FWB),has previously announced a financing with Global Resources Investment Trust Plc ("GRIT").  GRIT has been established to exploit investment opportunities in the junior mining and natural resources sectors worldwide, with an investment objective to generate medium and long-term capital growth.   Further to the Company's news releases of November 7, 2013, December 23, 2013 and January 21, 2014 respecting the Company's $1.25 million private placement with GRIT, the Company has been informed by GRIT that GRIT's listing on the London Stock Exchange is expected to become effective on March 7, 2014.   Accordingly, the closing of the GRIT placement is expected to happen on March 7, 2014.  The Company will issue a further news release on closing.  Particulars of the GRIT placement are set out in the foregoing news releases.
