TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Mar 10, 2014) - Lithium Americas Corp. (TSX:LAC) (the "Company") announces that, further to its news release dated February 3, 2014 regarding the Company's Rights Offering to its shareholders, the Company wishes to remind holders that the Rights, which are trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange under symbol LAC.RT, will expire and cease to be exercisable at 5:00 p.m. (Toronto time), on Thursday, March 13, 2014.
Holders are urged to make an investment decision and contact their brokers or financial advisors well in advance of the expiry date. The Rights will cease trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange at noon (12:00 p.m. - Toronto time), on the expiry date (March 13, 2014).
The Company issued one right for each common share outstanding as of the close of business on February 12, 2014. Each right is exercisable to acquire one common share of the Company, upon payment of the subscription price of $0.24 per common share.
