Channel Sampling Weighted Average of 29.30 g/t Gold Over 8.0 Meters at Fayolle

LAVAL, CANADA--(Marketwired - Mar 26, 2014) - Typhoon Exploration Inc. ("Typhoon") (TSX VENTURE:TYP) is pleased to announce positive results of the channel sampling, from the Fayolle Deposit outcrop.

Channel sampling north of the Fayolle Deposit allowed access to some high grade gold zones to confirm grade consistency and continuity of the mineralization.

The main gold intersection is centered on a 5 meters thick strongly albitized and hematized dyke of intermediate composition. Best results include 156.50 grams per ton gold over 0.8 meters and 40.80 grams per ton of gold over 1 meter. (see table of channel sampling results)

It should be noted that a drilling program is currently underway on the Fayolle Project in order to highlight the potential of gold enrichment zones obtained in previous exploration campaigns.
