West Point Resources Appoints Cannabinoid Expert Andrew Davies as Advisor

VANCOUVER, Apr 8, 2014 - West Point Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:WPO) (the "Company") is pleased to announce it has added Andrew Davies, one of Europe's foremost experts in cannabinoid research as an Advisor to the Company.

Andrew Davies is the CEO of STI Pharmaceuticals Ltd., a leading cannabinoid research company based in London, England. STI Pharmaceuticals develops investigational products for a wide range of clinical research.

Andrew has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and was instrumental in securing the first US IND for synthetic Cannabidiol (CBD) at Yale University. Andrew is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and holds a BEng from the University of Liverpool and an International Executive MBA from the University of Middlesex Business School, London. Andrew is a sought after speaker at cannabinoid conferences globally.
