Canadian Oil Sands' Shareholders Elect Directors at Annual General Meeting
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - May 1, 2014) - Canadian Oil Sands Ltd. ("COS") (TSX:COS) held its Annual General Meeting in Calgary on April 30, 2014. A total of approximately 261 million shares (approximately 54% of outstanding common shares) were represented in person or by proxy.
During business proceedings at the meeting, shareholders elected 11 Board members, including 10 independent directors, until the next annual general meeting. The voting results of shares represented at the meeting for individual directors were as follows:
