True Gold Announces Appointment of New Director

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Jul 31, 2014) - True Gold Mining Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TGM) ("True Gold" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Stephan Theron as a Director of the Company. Mr. Theron is currently the Managing Director for Boston-based Liberty Metals & Mining LLC ("Liberty"), one of True Gold's largest shareholders.

Mr. Theron brings extensive experience in operational management, capital project development and financing strategies within the mining and investment industries to the True Gold board. Prior to joining Liberty he worked for Forbes & Manhattan, a Private Merchant Bank in Toronto, where he served as CEO of the Coal Division. He led the acquisition, restructuring and development of a coal company in South Africa and the acquisition of a metallurgical coal company based in Alberta, Canada. In addition, he formerly served as Sector Head, Materials and Energy, for Lusight Research Inc., and has extensive capital project development experience working for AMEC and Weir Engineering groups.
