Triton Minerals Limited (ASX:TON) Appointment of Executive Technical Director

Perth, Australia (ABN Newswire) - Triton Minerals Ltd. (ASX:TON) (Triton, the Company) is pleased to announce that Non-Executive Director, Mr Alfred Gillman is appointed to the executive role of Technical Director, effective immediately. Triton has also agreed the terms of a new executive employment contract (Contract) with Mr Gillman and with Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr Brad Boyle.

Regarding Mr Gillman's appointment, Brad Boyle said "Mr Gillman's appointment as Technical Director is a key step in securing the technical expertise and management experience needed to help guide and rapidly progress the Mozambique Graphite Project through the next critical stages and advancement towards production. In addition his appointment will help facilitate the identification and acquisition of additional opportunities in order to create a stable project pipeline and ultimately assisting to secure the Company's financial position and future growth potential."

Mr Gillman has over 30 years of experience as a geologist in gold, base metals, uranium and industrial minerals. He has extensive experience in exploration and project development in various parts of the world including Australia, Papua New Guinea, Africa, the United States, Russia and Central Asia.

For most of Mr Gillman's career, he has held senior management positions, including Group Exploration Manager of Harmony Gold and he is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CP Geology).
