Stratabound Announces Share Purchase by William Bell

CALGARY, Sept. 3, 2014 /CNW/ - Stratabound Minerals Corp. (TSX.V: SB) ("Stratabound" or the "Company") announces that it has been advised by Mr. William Bell of Calgary, Alberta that Mr. Bell recently acquired a total of 2,264,000 units of the Company ("Units") pursuant to the final tranche of the non-brokered private placement first announced by the Company on June 5, 2014 (the "Private Placement").  Each Unit consisted of five common shares in the capital of the Company ("Common Shares"), and two and one-half Common Share purchase warrants ("Warrants"), for an aggregate subscription price to Bell of $566,000.  As a result of the closing of the final tranche of the Private Placement, Bell now owns and controls 47,698,166 Common Shares, representing 46.10% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares.  In addition, Bell holds Common Share purchase warrants to acquire an additional 15,560,000 Common Shares which, if fully exercised, would result in Bell owning and controlling an aggregate of 63,258,166 Common Shares representing 53.14% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares.  Bell acquired the Common Shares for investment purposes and may acquire additional shares of Stratabound in the future.

Prior to the closing of the final tranche of the Private Placement, Bell held 36,378,166 Common Shares representing 40.43% of the then issued and outstanding Common Shares.  In addition, prior to the closing of the final tranche of the Private Placement, Bell held an additional 9,900,000 Common Share purchase warrants which, if fully exercised, would have resulted in Bell owning and controlling an aggregate of 46,278,166 Common Shares representing 46.34% of the then issued and outstanding Common Shares.
