Abitibi Royalties Inc. Grants Incentive Stock Options

VAL-D'OR, QUÉBEC -- (Marketwired - Sept. 23, 2014) - Abitibi Royalties Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RZZ) ("Abitibi Royalties" or the "Company") announces that its Board of Directors has granted incentive stock options entitling its officers and directors to purchase an aggregate 80,000 common shares. A total of 60,000 options are exercisable at $3.62 per share until September 15, 2019, and 20,000 options are exercisable at $3.70 per share until September 19, 2019. Common shares issuable on exercise of the options will be subject to a hold period of four months and one day from the respective date of grant.

Abitibi Royalties holds a 30% free-carried interest on the Malartic CHL Property near Val-d'Or, Québec, located beside the Canadian Malartic mine.
