Uranium Participation Corp. Announces Filing of Final Base Shelf Prospectus

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired - Oct. 31, 2014) - Uranium Participation Corporation ("UPC") (TSX:U) announced today that, further to UPC's press release on October 3, 2014, it has filed a final short form base shelf prospectus (the "Prospectus") with the securities regulatory authorities in each of the provinces of Canada, other than Québec.
Pursuant to the Prospectus, UPC may issue common shares or warrants or any combination of such securities as units (the "Securities"), in amounts, at prices, and on terms to be determined based on market conditions at the time of sale and set forth in an accompanying prospectus supplement, for an aggregate offering amount of up to $200,000,000 during the 25 month period that the Prospectus remains effective.
UPC filed the Prospectus to give it flexibility to take advantage of financing opportunities as it sees fit, subject to market conditions and other relevant factors. There is no certainty that any Securities will be offered or sold under the Prospectus within the 25-month period.
