Freeport-McMoRan Prices $3.0 Billion of Senior Notes
Freeport-McMoRan Inc. (NYSE: FCX) announced today the pricing of $3.0 billion of senior notes. Following is a summary of the four new tranches of debt, which will have an aggregate weighted interest cost of approximately 4.1 percent:

The sale of the senior notes is expected to settle on November 14, 2014, subject to customary closing conditions. FCX intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay certain of its outstanding debt.
