Uranium Standard Appoints Simon Irish to the Board of Directors

VANCOUVER, Nov 25, 2014 - Uranium Standard Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:USR) (OTCQB:CRSKF) ("Uranium Standard" or the "Company") >is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Irish to the Board of Directors. Mr. Irish has over 20 years investment banking and asset management experience in London and New York. He has established and managed multi-billion dollar alternative investment businesses in North America. In 2012, Mr. Irish co-founded Terrestrial Energy Inc., a private Canadian corporation, of which he serves as Chief Executive and Director. Terrestrial Energy is developing an industrial small modular reactor using molten salt reactor technology in Canada. In 2009, he founded SWH Capital LLC, a New York based investment firm focused on innovative businesses in the financial, energy and healthcare sectors. Previously he has operated a substantial proprietary investment program for Man Group Plc. in alternative businesses and strategies. Mr. Irish's responsibilities for Man Group extended to sourcing and appraising corporate acquisition opportunities. Mr. Irish received his MA (Natural Sciences) from Cambridge University and an MSc in Finance from London Business School. He is a qualified UK chartered accountant.

The Company has also accepted the resignation of Steven Kenwood from the Board of Directors and thanks him for his contributions. The Board of Directors is now comprised of Arni Johannson, Michael Williams, Brian Butterworth, Paul Reynolds and Simon Irish.
