Osisko Appoints Francoise Bertrand to Board of Directors
MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Nov 25, 2014) - Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd. ("Osisko" or the "Corporation") (TSX:OR) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Françoise Bertrand to its Board of Directors.
Recently appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada, Ms. Bertrand is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ). She sits on numerous boards of directors of profit and non-profit organizations, including Valeurs mobilières Desjardins and Concordia University. Ms. Bertrand was also a former Chair of Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC).
Ms. Bertrand holds a Bachelor of Arts - Major in Sociology from Université de Montréal and a Master's degree in Environmental Studies from York University. She is a graduate from the Directors Education Program sponsored by the Institute of Directors of Canada and the Rotman School of Management - McGill. She is also a Chevalier of l'Ordre national du Québec.
