Changed Number of Shares and Votes in SEMAFO

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Dec 30, 2014) - SEMAFO (TSX:SMF)(OMX:SMF) - In December, the number of shares in SEMAFO increased by 269,490 common shares, corresponding to 269,490 votes. The increase in the number of shares and votes results from a share issue related to the recently announced credit facility in addition to the exercise of options.

As of December 30, 2014, the total number of shares in the Corporation amounts to 277,718,675 and the total number of votes totals 277,718,675. The Corporation's share capital as of December 30, 2014 amounts to approximately SEK 5,021,696,667.
