Vancouver, British Columbia (FSCwire) - Strike Diamond Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SRK) ("Strike Diamond" or “the Corporation”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ryan Kalt as Chairman of its Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation. The Corporation also reports that it has appointed Jody Dahrouge, P.Geol., as Vice-President, Exploration.
The Corporation’s Board of Directors believes these new officer appointments will assist Strike Diamond advance its leading mineral tenure position within Saskatchewan’s newly-emerged Pikoo diamond camp.
Mr. Kalt, B.Comm.(Hons), LL.B., LL.M., M.B.A., Strike Diamond’s incoming Chairman and CEO, is an experienced entrepreneur and executive having more than fifteen years of business experience. Mr. Kalt is also a Barrister & Solicitor and member of the Law Society of Alberta. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from Queen’s University, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario, a Master of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and a Master of Laws (Energy, Natural Resources and Environmental Law) from the University of Calgary.
Mr. Dahrouge, B.Sc., P. Geol., Strike Diamond’s new Vice-President, Exploration, has over twenty years of experience in the mineral exploration industry. Since 1998, Mr. Dahrouge has been the President of Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd., a geological services company that provides consulting services to a broad range of public and private exploration and mining companies. He is a Professional Geologist (Alberta) and holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Geology and Computing Science, both from the University of Alberta.
Strike Diamond would also like to express its appreciation to Geoff Balderson for his past service as President & CEO and looks forward to his ongoing contributions to the Corporation’s Board of Directors.
