Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - February 4, 2015) - Great Atlantic Resources Corp. (TSXV: GR) (the "Company" or "Great Atlantic") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Al Beaton as a director of Great Atlantic Resource Corp.
Mr. Beaton has been actively involved in mining operations for over 40 years. Since becoming a member of the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of BC in 1974, he has over 30 years of experience as mine manager for mining and development operations throughout Africa and across Canada. Mr. Beaton was the mine manager for Erikson Gold Mine from 1979-1986, is President of A.J. Beaton Mining Ltd since 1987. Mr. Beaton is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University (1967), and Nova Scotia Technical College (1970), BSc Engineering (Mining).
