Appointed to the Technical Advisory Committee
Barrie Fraser, P. Eng. is an accomplished Senior Project Manager with over 16 years of engineering and management experience and was the original senior project manager for the NI 43-101 PEA report dated September 15, 2011. His advice will add continuity for the next planning stages of our magnesium project. His wide range of project and personnel management history including technical experience has been gained in various industries including: consumer projects; agricultural equipment; industrial HVAC; light metals casting and finishing; automotive; marine; nuclear power generation; mining; and infrastructure. Mr. Fraser also has operations management experience including: quality; maintenance; resource; production; finance; safety and environment. His solid working knowledge of the staged approach to asset development and delivery coupled with grounding in the essential tools and techniques of project and engineering management has provided the platform for his successful engineering consulting and project execution track record.
Appointed to the Financial Advisory Committee
James E. Hock is the Founder, President and CEO of Hanover International, Inc. and is the current Co-Chairman of the National Investment Banking Association. Since the founding of Hanover in 1990, Jim has advised many micro-, small- and mid-cap companies on best industry practices in financial communications, corporate branding and awareness and capital markets access and advisory.
Robin Guss has over 35 years in the financial and investing industry working for national investment firms as a broker or branch manager. He was a founding partner in a very successful private investor corporation and currently resides in the Kelowna.
Frank E. MacKinnon brings over 35 years of senior operating and executive management skills along with strong domestic and international P&L experience. His professional insurance career includes the start-up of a Canadian 3rd party insurance company consisting of Canadian regional and international offices which financially resulted in $70 million in insurance revenues. Internationally, Mr. MacKinnon successfully developed and negotiated the licensing of 2 Caribbean Insurance Agencies which facilitated international business growth for the British Virgin Islands and St. Maarten. His career also brings many years of financial and leasing experience with abilities to market and originate large ticket lease transactions, evaluate capital expenditures, proposals, budgeting and cash flow based credit analysis from being employed by Canada's largest Bank's leasing divisions.
