Preliminary metallurgical recoveries average 97.5% at M1 and M3 prospects

Perth, Australia (FSCwire) - Gold developer West African Resources Limited (ASX, TSXV: WAF) pleased to report preliminary metallurgical test work results from the M1 and M3 prospects, at its 100% owned Tanlouka Gold Project, Burkina Faso.

“Preliminary metallurgical test work on oxide samples from M1 and M3 has returned average recoveries of 97.5%. This demonstrates that oxides from M1 and M3 are amenable to conventional cyanide processing techniques.
“Heap leach test work is continuing – including coarse feed bottle rolls being completed in Q1 2016.
“Gold mineralisation at M1 and M3 is located less than 2km from the proposed heap leach starter pit at M5.”
