Golden Hope Mines Announces Results of the Annual General Meeting and the Passing of Theodore (Teddy) Polisuk

Montreal, QC / TheNewswire / July 22, 2016 - Golden Hope Mines Ltd. is pleased to announce that all matters put forward to the shareholders for approval at its 2016 Annual General and Special Meeting ("AGM") held on July 22nd 2016 in Montreal, Quebec were passed.

At the AGM, the following individuals were re-elected as the directors of the Company: Larry Hoover, Chairman, Frank Candido, President, Michael Zurowski, Roy Millington. and Michael Alexander Dehn.

The shareholders further appointed MNP LLP as the auditors of the Company for the current year and the directors were authorized to determine the remuneration to be paid to the auditors.

The shareholders also re-approved the Company's stock option plan.

Theodore (Teddy) Polisuk: Past Chairman of the Board and President

We are deeply saddened to announce the recent passing of Theodore (Teddy) Polisuk after a long and courageous battle. Mr. Polisuk was the long acting past Chairman of the Board and President at Golden Hope and the Company's lawyer. His guidance, commitment, generosity and friendship will be truly missed. We would like to express our deepest condolences, thoughts, and prayers to his wife Susan and his entire family.
