Vena Resources Inc. Appoints Bill Williams CEO

TORONTO, Aug. 29, 2016 - Vena Resources Inc. (the "Company" or "Vena") (NEX: VEM.H) is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Williams, a recently elected director, as Chief Executive Officer of Vena. Martin Walter will continue in the position of President.
Dr. Williams is an economic geologist with extensive experience in South America. He is a former Chief Executive Officer and President of Orvana Minerals Corp. and since leaving that company in 2013, he has been a consultant to the mining industry. Prior to joining Orvana Minerals, he was a Vice President for Phelps Dodge Exploration. He holds a PhD, Economic Geology from the University of Arizona.
On his appointment, Dr. Williams stated, "I am looking forward to working with the Vena team to advance the Company's projects in Peru. Vena's recent acquisition of the Bongará Mine and Charlotte Bongará zinc-oxide projects in north-central Peru is an exciting addition to the Company's other exploration properties – Esquilache, a high-grade silver property in southern Peru and Las Princesas, a precious metals property in northern Peru."
