African Metals Corp.: Application for Management Cease Trade Order has been approved

Toronto - African Metals Corporation (the “Company”) (TSX:AFR) wishes to announce that, further to its press release of September 29, 2016, the Company’s application for a management cease trade order (MCTO) has been approved and the MCTO has been issued effective September 30, 2016. The Company will have the next 60 days to file the annual financial statements ended May 31, 2016 with a $800 filing fee by November 29, 2016.
Under National Policy 12-203 s. 4.4, the Company must file bi-weekly default status reports in the form of a news release during the period of the MCTO.
Failure to file the annual financial statements by November 29, 2016 or the bi-weekly default status reports will result in the issuance of a general cease trade order.
Neither the TSX Venture Exchange nor its Regulatory Services Provider (as that term is defined in the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange) accepts responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this press release.
