S&P Dow Jones Indices Announces Changes to the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices - Yamana Gold Inc.

Yamana Gold Inc. – Secondary Offering of Brio Gold Inc.TORONTO, Nov. 21, 2016 - S&P Dow Jones Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:
Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI) has announced the details of a secondary offering of shares of Brio Gold Inc. to Yamana shareholders via purchase rights. One purchase right will be received for every 16 shares of Yamana held. Each right enables the holder to acquire 1 share of Brio Gold Inc.
The ex-date for the distribution of the purchase rights is November 23, 2016. The rights will be listed for trading on TSX under the ticker symbol YRI.RT at the open on that date.
Distributed rights will be added to all S&P/TSX indices where Yamana Gold is a constituent at zero price at the open on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. The rights will be removed from all those same indices at the close on the same day at the close price on TSX. Note that the rights will not be part of the TSX's MOC facility.
