10 October, 2011 - African Eagle Resources plc ("African Eagle" or "the Company", ticker AIM: AFE, AltX: AEA) today announces that it has granted 3,000,000 share options on 5 October, 2011 at an exercise price of 10p to directors under the Company's share option schemes. The exercise price is 74% above the closing price of the Company's shares on 4 October, 2011. The share options will become exercisable after 5 October, 2012 and will expire on 5 October, 2016.
