Orefinders Appoints Charles Beaudry as VP of Exploration and to its Board of Directors

TORONTO, June 14, 2017 /CNW/ - Orefinders Resources Inc. ("Orefinders" or the "Company") (TSX.V: ORX) is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Beaudry as its Vice President of Exploration and to the company's Board of Directors.

About Mr. Charles Beaudry, M.Sc., P.Geo

Mr. Beaudry is a Professional Geologist with over 30 years experience in project generation, business development, exploration chemistry and hands-on project management. Charles previously held the position of General Manager of new business opportunities with IAMGold Corp. from 2008 until 2009, after having spent nearly 17 years in various capacities for Noranda-Falconbridge-Xstrata, including as country manager of Brazil from 1996 to 2001 and manager of the Frieda River Project from 2005 to 2006. Charles is also a past Director for the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Geology from the University of Ottawa and a Masters of Geology from McGill University. Charles has broad expertise in metallogenic modelling, project generation, geochemistry, QAQC, statistics and Six Sigma quality improvement methodologies.

Management would also like to take this opportunity to announce the resignation of William Stone from the Company's Board of Directors. "Bill has been an important part of Orefinders team over the last two years. He recently accepted a full-time opportunity with a major mining company and accordingly was asked to resign from all other positions.
