VANCOUVER, March 07, 2018 - Starcore International Mines Ltd. (TSX:SAM) (the “Company” or “Starcore”) announces it has closed its non-brokered private placement through the issuance of 500,000 units at a price of $0.25 per unit for gross proceeds of $125,000. Each unit is comprised of one common share of Starcore and one-half of one transferable common share purchase warrant, each whole warrant exercisable for a period of four years from the date of issue to purchase one common share of Starcore at a price of $0.30 per share. The proceeds of the private placement will be added to working capital. The sole subscriber to the private placement is Salvador Garcia, a director of the Company and Starcore’s Chief Operating Officer.
All of the securities issued pursuant to this offering are restricted for a period expiring on July 8, 2018.
